NRVTA Mission Statement
	The New River Valley Tennis Association (NRVTA), is a non-profit tennis association that helps promote the development and growth of tennis in our community. The annual membership dues cover the operating costs that help promote our development programs. Members of NRVTA enjoy benefits such as newsletters, the NRVTA web site, a membership directory and an annual membership meeting/tennis social. GET IN THE GAME!

NRVTA Objectives

		Assist efforts to obtain necessary funding to enhance tennis facilities in the New River Valley

		Conduct local non-sanctioned tournaments for local junior players at locations throughout the NRV

		Conduct USTA sanctioned tournaments

		Maintain / initiate ongoing tennis ladders and leagues

		Establish youth and adult programs to promote tennis as an affordable athletic endeavor that provides lifelong benefits

		Support area High School and Collegiate tennis teams

		Provide information regarding tennis activities and resources in the New River Valley

		Support local Recreation Departments in enhancing tennis programs and improving access to tennis programs for residents of the New River Valley
